The late great New York Yankee Yogi Berra once responded to a waitress who asked him how he'd like his pizza pie cut: "You'd better cut the pizza into four pieces because I'm not hungry enough to eat six."
Along that same wavelength of flawless logic, not many things pair better together than pizza and wine. Similarly, it is a widely known mathematical theorem that Pizza + Wine (squared) = Merriment. These important life revelations are exactly why we'd like to bring together - veteran club members, new members, and those folks who are interested in joining the club - for an evening of pizza, wine, and of course, merriment.
When: Friday, December 1, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Where: Brick Fire Tavern, 16 N. Hotel St. in Chinatown.
We will have the outdoor upstair patio area reserved just for our club (walk through Brick Fire to the back patio and take the outdoor steps up one flight).
What: Festa Italiana veteran Brick Fire Tavern will serve up a delicious array of appetizers and pizzas. The "Man Behind the Wine of Festa" - Donato Loperfido of Flavors of Italy - will bring a handful of delicious European wines for the tasting. What better way to celebrate the first Friday of December??
Fee: There is no fee to attend this event. Food is on the house, compliments of FOISOH.
If you wish to partake in the wine-tasting, you can buy a Wine Ticket (six 2-oz pours, which equal ~3 glasses) for only $15 (cash only, per favore!). Tickets will be available for purchase that evening. Seating is limited to only 50 so please make sure you RSVP today to reserve your spot!
Again, there is no charge to simply RSVP for the event so get to it already!
