Join our members Fabrizio Medosi (architect) and Nancy Miwa (docent) at the Honolulu Museum of Art for a talk and tour about Firenze and the Illusionist of Santa Maria del Fiore, Filippo Brunelleschi. They will bring a few models to explain architectural and structural concepts, while touching upon a sprinkling of historical social, economic, artistic, and cultural issues leading to and evolving in the Florentine Renaissance.

The program will start at 11am with Fabrizio's talk, continue at 11:30am with Nancy's tour of selected artwork that relate to Brunelleschi's architecture. At 12pm we'll sit down at the cafe' and enjoy lunch (optional and self paid), while discussing the presentation/tour as well as the book "Brunelleschi's Dome" by Ross King
