Friends of Italy Society of Hawaiʻi invites you to an interactive evening of wine, regional cuisine, and spirited debate.

Inspired by the legendary rivalry between Italy and France, Bottle Shock 2026 is a guided blind tasting experience led by a professional sommelier. Throughout the evening, guests will sample a curated selection of wines — without knowing whether they are Italian or French — and cast their votes to determine which country prevails.

The Experience

Guests are invited to bring:

• A dish to share inspired by France or Italy - you will be contacted by a board member to coordinate the potluck.

• Any additional beverages they wish to enjoy (BYOB).
